Shipping and delivery: costs and times

We roast on Mondays and Thursdays and ship within 24 hours of roasting, so your beans are on their way within a day of leaving the roaster.

Delivery cost and time by country

Subscription deliveries are always free in France.

Order cut-off times

Anything placed before 11:00 (Paris time) on a Monday or a Thursday goes out with that morning's roast. Baskets confirmed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday ship with Monday's roast.

How long does delivery take?

Add the wait for the next roast to the carrier's time. A basket paid on Tuesday is roasted on Thursday, leaves by Friday, and reaches an address in France 2 to 3 business days later, the following Tuesday or Wednesday. An EU address should allow up to a week after dispatch.

Customs for the United Kingdom and Switzerland

Parcels to the United Kingdom and Switzerland travel with a customs declaration that we fill in for you. Duty and import tax, when the local authorities charge them, are collected by the carrier on arrival and are paid by the recipient.

How your coffee is packed

Beans leave us in resealable bags with a one-way valve, inside a cardboard box sized to fit a letterbox whenever possible. Equipment travels in the maker's own packaging, which you should keep in case you need the warranty.

Tracking your parcel

You receive a tracking link by e-mail the moment the label is printed. Our reference numbers look like LC-1042. If the tracking page has not updated for 3 business days, write to hello@lumen-coffee.example and we will open an investigation with the carrier.

Lost or damaged parcels

If a parcel is marked delivered but you cannot find it, check with neighbours and your building's mail room first. After 5 business days we reship at no cost. Damaged bags: send us a photo within 7 days and we replace them.

Changed your mind? See returns and refunds. The binding rules are sections 2 and 3 of the terms and conditions, and you can always contact us.
